2020年是脱贫攻坚决战决胜之年，我国将全面建成小康社会，实现第一个百年奋斗目标。中国图书馆学会、中国日报社、中国画报出版社、首都图书馆联合丽江市图书馆，共同推出“百名摄影师聚焦脱贫攻坚图片巡展”，旨在进一步丰富图书馆的社会教育资源，向广大公众展现我国脱贫攻坚的成就与经验，多角度展示新时代新气象。

The year 2020 is the decisive year for poverty alleviation. China will build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and realize the first centenary goal. China Library Society, China Daily, China Pictorial Publishing House, Capital Library of China and Lijiang City Library jointly launched the 100 Photographers Focus on Poverty Alleviation Exhibition Tour, aiming to further enrich the social education resources of libraries, show the achievements and experience of China’s poverty alleviation to the general public, and show the new atmosphere of the new era from multiple perspectives.

前 言 Foreword

“社会主义是干出来的，幸福是奋斗出来的”。习近平总书记的这句深情嘱托，生动阐明了决胜全面建成小康社会、打赢精准脱贫攻坚战的内在逻辑，也为我们走好新时代的长征路提供了强大精神动力。

“Socialism can only be realized through painstaking efforts, and happiness be gained through hard work”. This quote of President Xi Jinping elucidates the logic of how the battle against poverty can be won and a better-off society in all aspects be built. This quote has provided spiritual strength for the country’s development in the new era.

随着高质量完成脱贫攻坚，中华民族千百年来存在的绝对贫困问题将历史性地得到解决，中国人民在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下，创造了人类反贫困历史的奇迹，为全球减贫事业做出了重要贡献，受到国际社会广泛赞誉。

With poverty alleviation concluded in a quality way, the destitution that has existed in the country for thousands of years will be eliminated for good. This is a feat the Chinese people have achieved under the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC) Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core. It is also a miracle of human fight against poverty in the world and has contributed tremendously to the global cause of poverty reduction and an achievement widely acclaimed in the international community.

联合国秘书长安东尼奥·古特雷斯说，中国减贫领域的巨大成功是“当今世界上最美好的故事”。为对外讲好中国推进脱贫攻坚的美好故事，让世界读懂这一伟大实践，中国日报社近年来在报网端微全平台策划推出了许多新闻产品，实施了“百名摄影师聚焦脱贫攻坚”等项目。

Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres said that China’s success in poverty reduction was the most beautiful story in today’s world. To tell a good story about China’s fight against poverty and let the world know how this achievement was made, China Daily has published a lot of stories and other news products in its newspapers, on its websites and other digital platforms. It has now launched this program 100 Photographers Focus on Poverty Alleviation.

今年，中国日报社继续发挥“百名摄影师聚焦”品牌的优势和作用，通过广大摄影家朋友的镜头，关注脱贫攻坚新进展，记录各地群众新生活，多角度展示新时代中国的风貌。

China Daily has employed the awareness of its brand”100 Photographers Focus” to record the new progress in the struggle to eliminate poverty and people’s life in various areas as seen through the lenses of photographers.
